Reverend Curtis Byrd

  Rev. Curtis was born in Santa Rosa, California and is a graduate of Cardinal Newman High School. After attending both California Polytechnic State University and Oregon State University – on full track and field scholarships, he established careers with four fortune 500 companies in various corporate settings spanning 20 years.  In addition to the full-time ministry, he currently serves and volunteers for various local and national non-profit organizations. 
  He is an advocate for the human rights and has been a guest speaker, lecturer, and motivational speaker throughout Northern & Southern California.  After completing his Unity-based ministerial studies at the Johnnie Colemon Theological Seminary in Chicago, IL., he was ordained in 2005 at the Church of the Oaks in Cotati, California.
  He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Sonoma State University and is also a certified chaplain.  Currently Rev. Curtis serves on the City of Santa Rosa Community Advisory Board; the California State NAACP Executive Committee and the Santa Rosa Gang Task Force Advisory Board.
